As artisans spin alpaca fleece into yarn, they are left with excess fibers that are too short to spin. This can be as much as 20% of the fiber in alpaca fleece. Years ago, we were looking for a way to use the leftover fibers, and we came across a pure castile soap handmade in the Sacred Valley using olive and coconut oils.
