This is a vintage Japanese tea bowl made by Yoshiki Sugiura (1915-1982)

Simply take of the lid, pop your tea leaves in the strainer, and pour on hot water. When the tea has brewed lift out the strainer on place it on the upturned lid which doubles up as a drip tray. The glass is made from heat resistant glass, the strainers and lid are made from plastic (dishwasher safe). Available in yellow and grey.
