'Uvaggio' Coste della Sesia, Proprieta Sperino 2020 Region_Casablanca Valley Only part of the estateA northern Italian gem from Proprieta Sperino, a 7. 7ha estate in the Coste della Sesia hills of Piemonte given a new lease of life when inherited by Paolo De Marchi, owner of renowned Chianti producer Isole e Olena. Principally Nebbiolo blended with Vespolina and Croatina (the latter more common in Lombardy). Ferrous and earth scented, with a kiss of sweet cherry plum fruit and plenty of fine, supple tannin, somewhere between a Barolo and a Burgundy.
