Wondrous Purple Diamonds Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe from Japan 13.5" x 60" #7751 Whole Bolt mid-century modern looking flowers createdThese are pieces from a de constructed old kimono from Japan. Pure silk with liquid drape, lightweight, supple and flowy. The base jacquard adds dimension, sheen and light play. The large print is off white, a couple of grays, metallic gold, bright yellow and bright orange. We think the gray, young tree(?) images were hand painted; we don't see two that exactly match. The crepe texture is subtle. Our guess is that this silk may be older than vintage
