Rhodotypos scandens - Jetbead Maple One of the rarest maplesA graceful arching deciduous shrub that is native to China, it has ovate deeply veined mid green leaves cover the branches that have quite a crinkled appearance. In late spring small white paper rose like flowers develop at the end of the branches which are followed in autumn small round black berries that persist well into winter. A tough plant that adapts well to most conditions in full shade to half shade.
