The pearl barley grain is cooked like rice. Soft on the inside, and slightly crunchy on the outside. Ingredient: Organic Polished Barley (cereals containing gluten). Suggested cooking method: Rinse and cook 1 cup of barley in 2 cups of water for 30 to 35 minutes, then add salt. It is great in soup and gratin, with vegetables and in
