This print is inspired by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) imagery of a sand sample collected at Aberdeen beachfront. This amazing piece of technology can view sand grains at one thousandth of a millimetre. April combined the monochrome SEM images with a colour palette from the day she collected the sand to create this beautiful moody blue and sandy beige textile.
