Bonifacio Piña Barong made-to-order drawn-thread detail — set acrossA line drawn into the cloth itself. Pia pineapple leaf fiber, knotted by hand into a thread fine enough to see through, then woven. Left in its natural tone, faintly gold. What marks the Bonifacio is its discipline: thin black lines set into the weave, with hand sewn embroidery held only to the front.
